Database practitioners and specialists from related organisations have developed a set of data entry standards for advice-resources and other organisations collecting similar data.

The Learning Directory Classification System (LDCS)
Developed in 1999 by a group of database practitioners and subject experts, the LDCS can be used by all databases providing data to the Learning Directory. It is based on SUPERCLASS II, which was first produced in 1993.
You can download the LDCS in Word format for in-house use only. If you want to use it for commercial purposes, please email advice-resources.
